Breathing for the Five Elements
Every Sunday Evening in August, 6-6:15pm   FREE Virtual Practice

Even when we aren’t aware of it, yoga practices are working with the basic energies of the five elements. We all contain all of the five elements, but some may be more prominent than others. As we understand the elements and their combinations within our nature, and the practices that enhance or balance them, our practice advances. 

This month, as we practice, Pattie will devote a week of classes to each element. So Earth and Water practices will be the focus for the weeks from August 1st - 15th, and Fire and Air will be the focus from August 16th - 29th. Nothing you haven’t done before, but more understanding of why you’re doing it.

To kick off our week of practicing with a specific element in mind, we’ll have a short discussion about the qualities of that element and learn a breathing practice that enhances our feeling of it. The breathing practice you learn will be part of the week’s practices with Pattie or you can learn it and practice it on your own.
