Since the pandemic began, two out of three Americans report having sleep issues. The anxiety and stress of this moment in history has pushed sleeplessness to epidemic proportions. And none of us are at our best without a good night’s sleep. 

Poor sleep affects:
    ~our mental quickness
    ~our learning & memory
    ~our physical & emotional health
And it can leave us more anxious and depressed.

Learning what lifestyle habits can help your brain find sleep, and learning to use all the tools of yoga—breath, proper movement, and meditation— to help regulate your nervous system, can help you find a healthier night’s restful sleep. Combining modern neuroscience with the ancient techniques of yoga can improve sleep without the harmful side effects of pharmacological solutions.

This workshop will focus on gentle yoga postures, breathing practices to awaken the parasympathetic (rest & digest) nervous system, and a brief period of yoga nidra meditation.
You’ll take home a handout with a simple posture practice you can do at home and  a Tips for Better Sleep Workbook & Journal. Suitable for all.
