Chakra Flow w/Meditation
Tuesdays at 7pm with Pattie McCann ERYT
The chakras are centers of energy within us that affect our mental and emotional state. All of our physical practices in hatha yoga are designed to awaken and enliven the chakras to transform us, even when we don’t know the intention. Standing poses stimulate the root chakra and our feelings of stability: backbends open our heart chakra to help us free our kindness and compassion. With this class we’ll tune in to our activation of the energies we awaken, as we flow through the movements with understanding. And then we’ll finish each class with a short period of meditation to bring awareness to the psychic energy we’ve awakened.
Classes will be suitable for all levels.
