Meditation: Creating a Personal Practice w/ Pattie McCann ERYT
Sunday, September 29 & October 6, 2024 / 6 - 7pm / FREE or Donation
The benefits of meditation are many and more well-known all the time. Meditation can release stress, increase energy, defuse negative emotions, focus concentration, and just make people happier. But stilling the mental chatter and finding internal peace can be challenging, and many have given up before they really established a regular practice.
Finding a technique of meditation that works for you and the ways that best relax and prepare you, can make all the difference. We’ll explore the elements of meditation and practice different techniques so participants begin to find what can work in their personal practice.
Attendance at both sessions isn’t a requirement, but different material will be covered in each.
Join us at the studio, to use our props and peace and quiet. Or join the live-stream from home.
All donations will go to Focus: Hope, a non-profit organization that has worked to fight racism, poverty, and injustice in the metropolitan area since 1968. Find out more about their work at: www.focushope.edu/about-us/who-we-are/
